How we did it
8TURN TRACE in Europe opened at the Kesselhaus in Berlin on 15 September and closed at the Musikteatret Albertslund in Copenhagen on 2 October — with Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne, the Palladium in Warsaw, Q-Factory in Amsterdam, La Cigale in Paris, Islington Assembly Hall in London and Tiivistämö in Helsinki in between. Eight shows, one production running through all of them.
As Kooky's European production partner, Keystone Lab booked and managed the venues, working with local promoters, lighting and staging suppliers in every country — a different room, a different technical spec and a different set of local rules every two or three days.
Behind the shows ran the logistics of a touring K-pop group and its crew: freight and customs for the merchandise, including the Channel crossing into the UK, hotels and rooming lists city by city, hospitality riders, ticketing coordination, and fan events with Hey!Hallyu — including a lucky draw with the Korean Cultural Centre in Germany for the Cologne and Berlin dates.
